Ujjain is one of the seven sacred cities (Sapta Puri) in Hinduism and is located on the eastern bank of the Kshipra River in Madhya Pradesh.

The temple is situated near Mangalnath Temple, which is approximately 2.5 km from the city center.

The nearest airport is Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in Indore, approximately 55 km from Ujjain. Taxis and buses are available from the airport to Ujjain.

Ujjain is well-connected by road to major cities. NH-52 connects Ujjain to Indore, and state highways connect it to other parts of Madhya Pradesh.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Ujjain is from October to March when the weather is pleasant. Summers (April to June) can be extremely hot, while monsoon (July to September) brings moderate rainfall.

Dress Code
